Visitors from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa, Togo, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Germany, the U.S.A., the U.K., Denmark and Italy do not need an entry visa. Please refer to : Senegal Visa Information for visa requirements details.

Visitors from other countries should contact local Senegalese representatives for information about visa requirements. For those countries without local diplomatic representation, the neighbouring country would be an option. A request has been submitted to the Ministry of Interior to grant visas on arrival, to delegates from countries where Senegal does not have an Embassy. Further information on this matter will be provided in due course.

While in Senegal, if you wish to visit the Gambia, the entry visa (18 000 CFA) can be delivered at the border. For Guinea-Bissau you can obtain a visa at Ziguinchor (5 000 CFA), at the Guinea-Bissau Consulate. For these two countries as well as for Guinea, Mali and Mauritania, you can obtain a visa at their embassies in Dakar.
