WHAT  IS  AABF?

The Africa Asia Business Forum is a unique opportunity for selected businesses in Africa and Asia to meet and negotiate business deals, leading to the development of business linkages and expanded trade between the two continents. The Forum is designed to promote beneficial South-South business partnerships, trade, direct foreign investment and to enhance economic and social development in both continents.

The AABF Process includes the following main steps:

  3. Profile prospective businesses
  4. Perform confidential audits of the prospective businesses
  5. Match the prospective businesses and make selections
  6. Send letters of invitation to the selected businesses
  7. Initiate pre-conference collaboration amongst the selected and matched businesses
  8. Enhance collaboration amongst the selected and matched businesses at the AABF main conference
  9. Encourage the selected and matched businesses to sign Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) or Joint Venture Business Partnership (JVBP) agreements.
